英国股市周三表现疲软，受到令人失望的美国科技公司收益的压力，这导致华尔街大幅下跌。

周二盘后发布的两家“七巨头”成员的季度收益报告，包括谷歌母公司Alphabet和电动车制造商特斯拉，未能让市场满意。

NAS100 H4

在伦敦收盘时，蓝筹股FTSE 100指数下跌0.2%，至8,152点，而中型股FTSE 250指数下跌0.7%，至20,950点，接近两周低点。

在蓝筹股下跌者中，奢侈品公司Burberry下跌2.1%，因全球最大奢侈品集团法国LVMH在第二季度销售放缓。

但在上涨方面，利洁时上涨1.9%，宣布将进行全面重组，出售Air Wick、Calgon、Cillit Bang等“非核心”品牌及其他家居护理产品。利洁时还公布了上半年业绩，显示净收入下降了3.7%。

廉价航空公司易捷航空上涨3.0%，此前该公司报告第三季度税前利润增长16%。

蓝筹股营销公司Informa上涨3.7%，该公司同意以12亿英镑收购戛纳狮子节的所有者Ascential。Ascential上涨25.8%，成为FTSE 250指数中涨幅最大的公司。

豪华汽车制造商阿斯顿·马丁上涨6.5%，创下近两个月来的最佳单日表现，因该公司报告的半年业绩好于预期。

UK100 H1

在经济方面，标准普尔全球综合采购经理人指数（PMI）在7月份升至29个月高点52.7，较6月份的六个月低点52.3有所上升，略高于预期的52.6。服务业PMI活动指数从52.1升至52.4，略低于预期。

尽管如此，这一数据应能让英国央行（BoE）感到振奋，因近期消费者价格通胀压力降至三年多来的最低水平，英国央行有可能在不久后首次降息。

英国央行将在8月1日的下一次政策会议后发布新的通胀预测，但由于上周数据显示服务价格通胀和工资增长仍然较高，投资者已经减少了其将在该会议上降息的押注。

在金融衍生品市场上，英镑兑欧元上涨0.1%，至1.1903，但兑美元持平，报1.2905美元。

GBPUSD H1

美国通胀数据将在周五公布，以评估美联储对利率的立场，随着9月份政策决策的临近，一些预测者预测届时会降息。

加拿大央行周三连续第二个月将关键利率下调25个基点，至4.5%，并表示如果通胀继续按预测下降，借贷成本可能会进一步降低。
